First Football club from Andalucía to obtain Quality Management Systems ISO 9001:2000 Certification
SGS has given the Quality Management System Seal to Cádiz Club de Fútbol, according to ISO 9001:2000 Regulation requirements, in a public event that took place last March 7th in the halls of Cádiz’s Hotel Playa Victoria. In this delivery event were present, among others, Antonio Muñoz, Cádiz CF’s president, José Mata, the club’s general manager, and Ramón Robles, SGS ICS Ibérica’s president.
Ramón Robles marked this certification achievement as a “landmark, for there are many organisations already slipping into this area and this club is the first in Andalucía to obtain it and it is the second one in Spain”, and highlighted that “this certificate is not the final goal, our company subjects all certificated organisations to annual revisions in order to keep these certifications pure and durable”.
Also, in José Mata’s oppinion, the certification means a guarantee of all obligations acquired by the club, expressed in their quality policy and managed through the monitoring of the relevant programmes. “It has been a hard, long and important task where each one of our staff in Cádiz CF has had a very active participation providing their abilities, knowledge and expertise in order to achieve all planned goals and those we plan in the future”, added the club’s manager.
This certification is an important recognition for Cádiz CF as resulting of the excellent work developed by all the human team in the company as a self-demanding act and investment in the continuous improvement of their management.
