After the successful past experiences in Asturias, Barcelona and Sevilla, last May 10th SGS organized in Zaragoza’s Hotel Hesperia a public seminar on the Environmental Responsibility Regulation with the presence of representatives from companies such as ARCELOR, BSCH BALAY, CEMEX, ENEL VIESGO, FCC, GRUPO SAMCA, SAICA, TORRASPAPEL, VALEO TERMICO y VITROGAR, as well as the members of Aragón’s Administration Juan Carlos Rabal (Instituto Aragonés de Gestión Ambiental - INAGA) and Agustín Garnica (Departamento de Calidad Ambiental).
Not only it was a perfect ocasión to expose SGS Aragón’s Environmental Division that takes great effort to provide any service derived from this Environmental Respobsibility Regulation, but the companies got to know the Environmental Risk Assessment service, based in UNE 150008:2000 EX Regulation’s methodology.
Also, SGS’ representatives offered to those attending the seminar an IT solution to allow, via SIG, the interpretation of the assessment’s results and help preventive actions and reduce risks according to a more visual information system represented by ortophotos of the organisations’ facilities
