SGS ICS renews Cargill España, S.A. s Good Trading Practices Certification
SGS ICS has recently renewed Good Trading Practices certification (GPT) to Cargill España S.A. for the activities of import and national trade of vegetable-origin raw materials destined for animal and human feeding.
Cargill, present in Spain since 1960 and with a staff of 1.200 employees distributed along the country’s geography, it is an International animal food trader operating in Spain and Portugal under the Nutrimentos Purina brand. The company offers, also, products and services related to the management of agricultural risk and develops healthy ingredients destined for agricultural food products, as well as dietetics and pharmaceutical products.
Good Trading Practices certification (GTP) applies to companies trading animal and human food products, particularly grains, seeds, fodders, olive oils, fat and oils and agricultural supplies. In order to prove higher levels of transparency and commitment, COCERAL (European Grain Traders Association) has determined the Good Trading Practices (GTP), in order to ensure all products are being traded with respect to the best professional standards and observing the current European regulation.
