SGS Collaborates in CAEOL Project for the Wind Energy Sector
SGS TECNOS’ Project Development and Innovation Department, Asociación Empresarial Eólica (AEE) and Federación Estatal de Industrias Afines de UGT (FIA-UGT), with fundings from Fundación para la Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (IS-0019/2009), have been developing through 2010 the Management System of Business Activities’ CAEOL Project in order to turn it into the wind energy sector’s guideline, a sector where outsourcing is a common practice.
Through a technical analysis, a field research, a qualitative research and thanks to the wind energy sector’s collaboration, this Project states certain Wind Energy Sector Level Agreed Protocols of Performance whose results are aimed both to national working centres concurring building works’ and service providers’ promoters, owners, principals, contractors and subcontractors, as well as wind energy sector’s national, European Union and non-European Union staff , avoiding turnarounds, delays or standstills.
Other contents the CAEOL Manual encompasses are the “Wind Energy Sector’s Current Status”, “CAE-relative Regulation”, “Implementation of R.D 1627/97 and R.D 171/04. Building Work – Exploitation of wind energy farm”, “Wind Energy Sector Diagnosis related to Business Management Activities” and the “Suggestions for Improvement” resulting from such diagnosis, “Responsibility in the administrative environment” and an “Annex” that includes the “Proposed Content for Consultation related to the documentation demanded by CAE for companies and self-employed organizations working in the Wind Energy Sector”.
