In response to the increasing demand of coordination between safety and efficiency in the international market environment, the role of Authorized Economic Operator (OEA) has been created.
Its goal it is to implement more strict and efficient measures in the logistics chain, making the goods’ flow an easier process. OEA is an internationally recognized quality brand that asserts that the role of a company within the international supply chain is safer and their control and procedures’ methods comply with customs regulation, so it will be considered as a “safe and reliable operator.
Such operators will be positively branded with advantages related to certain simplified processes and with faster custom controls’ management procedures.

- Easier and simplified customs regimes’ requests
- Less physical and documental controls
- Priority in the controls
- Possibility that nota ll controls are performed at Customs premises
- Resumed Entry – Exit declarations
- Physical analysis’ prior notification
- As well as other direct and indirect advantages that European Public Authorities offer to the Operators
The issuing of this certificate in Spain is performed by AGENCIA TRIBUTARIA after an OEA Requirements’ Audit.
