Amongst such areas are the identification of dangers, risk assessment and setting of controls to apply to them, legal requirements, resources, functions, responsibilities and authority, competence, training and awareness, communication, participation and assistance, operational control, emergency planning and reaction ability and the system’s performance measurement.
Port Authorities, in order to implement a labor health and safety-related strategy common to all the Port-related environments, ensures all preventive measures’ compliance, which results in the reduction of labor accidents within the Port, part of a Good Preventive Practices committed to extend their scope to all organizations working at Las Palmas Port.
