SGS Organizes the Official BCI Course “Business Continuity Principles and Good Practices”
SGS organizes the Official BCI Course (Business Continuity Institute) “Business Continuity Principles and Good Practices” that will take place between September 23rd and 27th at SGS in Madrid’s premises.
The course, 40 hours length divided into 5 one-day modules, is directed to managers, directors, financial managers, business continuity consultors and managers, risk management directors, health and safety managers, IT managers, safety managers and those in charge of auditing business continuity operations.
The different modules are structured as follows:
- Business Continuity Management (BCM) Principles: Policies, management and cultural program.
- BCM Review: Understanding the Organization.
- BCM Design: Detecting proper BCM strategies.
- BCM Practical: BCM response development and implementation.
- BCM Practical: BCM Execution, Maintenance and Reviewing.
Continuity plans are part of an organization’s crisis management and a core element of Business Continuity Management lifecycle.
The course is based in presentations, workshops and case studies focused in several scenarios to show how a continuity plan is implemented.
