SGS gets Accredited as Subacuatic Activities Company
Cartagena’s SGS Emergency Services has finished their accreditation process as professional subacuatic activities’ company.
Such accreditation allows them to perform diving activities through the whole Spanish territory, both in sea and interior waters. Cartagena’s base is provided with an acuatic intervention vehicle with autonomous and surface-assisted diving systems for two divers and a surface technician.
With this equipment they can perform diving works keeping the diver’s supply from the surface as well as voice communication with the equipment used a subacuatic recording device.
The support to divers’ vehicle transports a static complementary boat as well as another semi-rigid boat of higher capacity and power located at Cartagena’s base.
Such new capacities enable SGS Emergency Services Industrial Rescue Teams to perform rescue duties in acuatic environments, inspection works’ support, recording and measurement in sea environments and recovery Works of submerged elements.
