Hotel Ca´n Bonico achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification
Ses Salines’ Hotel CA´N BONICO has received recently from SGS in Balearic Islands’ Director, Agustí Ibánez, the certificate of compliance with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Standard, in an event that took place at the hotel’s facilities.
ISO 9001:2008 certification recognizes those organizations with excellent management performance that comply with all the requirements the regulation states and have implemented a Quality Management System to increase the hotel’s competitiveness.
This ISO 9001:2008 certification provides three main advantages: improvement of the processes and elimination of the costs the “not quality” produces, achieves a bigger implication of the staff to reach a sustainable and excellent performance and, also, implies a strong conviction in the transmission of the commitment to quality through all the levels of the organization.
During the event, the Hotel’s Manager, Gergori Bonet, highlighted that this achievement means to them the certification of management excellence with all the hotel team involved.
CA´N BONICO was supported by ISQ Turística for the System implementation, whose experience has been really important to involve the whole hotel staff and to successfully pass SGS’ external audit.
SGS in Balearic Islands’ Director, Agustí Ibáñez, remarked the audit results as core points that show “the leadership and commitment shared by the whole Hotel CA´N BONICO’s managing team, as well as the important team work performed by the staff as main support for the centre’s management”.
