Under the motto “Warmth: the base of our quality”, Patim has celebrated with three events the European Quality Week. Castellón, Madrid and Valencia have been the chosen locations to implement the actions promoted by this organisation, framed within the company’s 10th anniversary, and in which SGS has collaborated proactively.
The presentation of the new quality standard by SGS ICS Regional Director in Valencia and Andalucía, Juan Manuel Arnandis, for the legal consultancy service (SAJI) has been the first step in an event that took place in Castellón’s Casino Antiguo where all lecturers remarked “Patim’s drive and continuous adaptation to new challenges”. Such certification, promoted by Castellón’s Council, turns Patim in the only non-governmental organisation in Spain to have three Qualicert quality certifications: day centre, therapeutical community and SAJI.
The second event has been the VII Patim Congress in Madrid under the motto “A quality model: Qualicert Standard”, in collaboration with Day Centre Association (ASECEDI). Last November 12th, about 40 specialists in quality issues attended this seminar where this certification was analyzed from different elements involved such as education, health and addictions.
Madrid’s Health Counsellor, Juan José Güemes, presided the inaugural act and Anti-drug Agency Managing Director, Almudena Pérez, the closing one. Amongst the lecturers were SGS ICS Services Certification Director, Álvaro de Roa, and SGS ICS Project Manager, Purificación Sánchez, as well as representatives from other organisations such as Balnerario Lanjarón, Clínicas Acesima, Universidad Europea de Madrid and Asociación Española para la Calidad.
Patim has participated, also, in the seminar that took place in Valencia organised by Taula d’Entitas Socials de la Comunitat Valenciana that analysed the present and future of quality in Valencia’s Third Sector, and where Patim’s performance was highlighted as the best practices in quality by social organisations. In the seminar took part, also, SGS ICS General Director, Joaquín Muñoz Rodríguez.
“In these entire events we achieved the most positive results due to the quality offered in our performance”, affirmed Patim’s President, Francisco López y Segarra.
