SGS has participated as speaker in a Seminar on compliance with Industrial Hygiene-related REACH European Regulation that has taken place at Castellón’s Instituto de Tecnología Cerámica (ITC). More than 50 people, coming from organizations related to the Inorganic Pigments and Fritas Consortiums and the Raw Materials for the Ceramic Use Import Association, attended the event, organized by the Inorganic Pigments and Fritas Consortiums.

SGS Tecnos’ Industrial Hygiene Manager, Anna Oubiña, was accompanied by the industrial higyienist Ramón Pou, as well as the representatives from both Consortiums, Manuel Breva and Jaime Sales, and ITC’s Organizational Health and Hygiene Unit Manager, María Jesús Ibáñez.

The new scenarios the REACH Regulation cause to organizations, regarding labor safety and industrial hygiene, have a great importance when complying with the current regulations, so in consequence consortiums provide all their support to help clarifying regarding the steps of the process.
