SGS Organizes Seminars on New Techniques for NDT
Celebrating the Week of Science and Technology organized by Gijón’s Parque Científico y Tecnológico, Control Bodies Association (ASOCAS) set up several interesting seminars with SGS’ participation, on November 8th, with the conference: “New Tecniques in Non Destructive Tests. Their use in production and maintenance in industrial facilities”.
The event was hosted by ASOCAS’ president, Nicasio de la Vega, and had the participation as speaker of SGS’ NDT Technical Manager, José Antonio Andrade, as well as Economy and Employment Department’s Industry Service Manage, Elena Colunga Argüelles, as finishing speaker.
The seminar attracted to a great number of visitants, amongst them representatives from organizations such as Fertiberia, Thyssenkrupp, HC Energía, ArcelorMittal, Tudela Veguín, Idesa, Ence, Fluor, Dupont, Imasa, Grupo TSK, Grupo Isastur, General Dynamics, Asturiana de Zinc, Duro Felguera, Ingemas, Nortemecánica, etc., as well as members of the Government’s Industry Council.
