The event was organized by SGS y CreativeQuality to show an overview of the food safety regulatory requirements demanded by the wine production sector and how these regulations help the companies that implement them to spread their markets and to ease the exportation of the products elaborated.

The seminar, attended by representatives from most of the Extremadura wineries, reviewed how competitiveness in the food products sector is based both in the uniqueness of their products and their reliability, minimizing risks as well as maintaining quality criteria increasingly higher and more demanding.

The different conferences were imparted by Ribera del Guadiana D.O.’s Consejo Regulador Director, Francisco López, SGS Spain Food Division Manager, David López, CreativeQuality’s food safety technician, David Cebrián, Adriana Gragera from Extremadura Avante, Coop. Viñaoliva’s laboratory and quality manager, José de la Cruz, and Coop. San Marcos’ production manager, Javier González, who explained their organizations’ experience in relation to the certification of such regulations.
