SGS Organizes Two Technical Seminars on Energy Efficiency in Canary Islands after R.D. 235/2013 Coming to Effect
Due to April 5th R.D. 235/2013’s coming to effect from June 1st 2013, approving the basic procedure for energy efficiency certification of existing buildings, SGS has imparted two technical seminars on Energy Efficiency last April 15th and 16th at Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The two seminars were imparted by SGS Energy Technical Manager, Miguel Ángel Sánchez Orgaz.
The seminars focused in the particularities of the new R.D. like buildings’ Energy Qualification and energy audits. Those attending the seminar were also informed on other services SGS offers within this area such as Maintenance Audits, Regulatory Audits, equipment inventory, Installation Audits, technical Assistance to the proprietors, BREEAM Certification, facility Commissioning and Verification and Measuring Plans.
The seminars were attended by a total of 52 visitors, 26 of them coming from Santa Cruz de Tenerife’s region and 32 from Las Palmas Region, working in areas such as Canary Islands Government, in City Councils or other public authorities, tourist chains and hospital managers as well as schools directors and real estate offices managers.
