Safety School and Industrial Rescue Team's SGS Emergency Services Provides Training Services to AB Mauri
During February 12th and 13th, a SGS Emergency Services Industrial Rescue Team imparted two Rescue in Confined Spaces' training courses to the staff in Córdoba's AB Mauri yeast factory.
Such training, according to Safety School standard, had a theoretical-practical focus around the risks existing when performing indoors confined jobs and the rescue activities necessary when an emergency situation occurs.
The Industrial Rescue Team, deployed with a fast intervention vehicle, trained the company's staff in rescue and evacuation techniques in a 5 metres high deposit where several emergency situations were simulated. Also, a number of excersises were performed such as worker evacuation using a rescue tripod, victim's evacuation and movement using a rescue stretcher and the use of autonomous and semi-autonomous respiration equipmentof, amongst others.
As well as the techniques employed by SGS Emergency Services industrial rescue teams, the students were allowed to know firsthand the rescue material used in our facilities.
