Cybersecurity Seal: Certification of Critial Infraestructures and the Value Chain
The official presentation of the Seal of Cyber security of the AEI will take place on June the 2nd in the ‘San Francisco Theatre’ in the City of Leon, Spain.
This event is of an exceptional interest since this ‘Seal’ is the first certification scheme which includes the security requirements that an organization labeled as a ‘Critical Infrastructure’, or any other company providing products and/or services to them, should comply with to demonstrate it has securely implemented physical and logical security systems and measures to protect their assets against different cyber threats.
WHO HAS DEVELOPED THE ‘SEAL OF CYBERSECURITY FOR CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURES AND THE VALUE CHAIN’?
The Spanish Cybersecurity Innovation Cluster (aka AEI Ciberseguridad) has developed the Certification Scheme known as ‘Seal of Cybersecurity’.
Who is the Spanish Cybersecurity Innovation Cluster ?
More than 80 entities, public and private, take part of the Cybersecurity Innovation Cluster. These organizations are the most relevant sector representatives, bringing together both technology and service offering along with expertise in cybersecurity.
The AEI Ciberseguridad is the only association of organisations in this sector in Spain and is recognized as an "excellent Cluster" by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism of Spain
What role has SGS performed in the development of the ‘Seal of Cybersecurity’?
SGS Spain, as full member of the Cybersecurity Innovation Cluster took the lead on the project in collaboration with teams from other organizations to develop this ‘Seal’. SGS lead the creation and implementation of this solution, which today, satisfies the demand for certification and standardization in the area of Cybersecurity services for Critical infrastructure and the value chain.
WHO IS THE TARGET AUDIENCE
This event is targeted to Critical Infrastructure, its supply chain and generally any public or private organization that want to demonstrate its excellent level of Cybersecurity.
AGENDA AND REGISTRATION
The agenda includes first-level speakers: European Union public and private leaders, representatives of the Government of Spain, the Regional Government of Castilla y Leon, the City of Leon and Seal certified or undergoing certification companies.
